All lessons include vocabulary development and spelling strategies. The vocabulary development will be based on the individual needs of each student.

Reading Development

Reading programmes can support students from preschool, primary school and high school as well as adult learners.

The reading programme is a structured programme with explicit teaching of phonics using multisensory strategies.

Lessons also focus on reading fluency and comprehension.

Explicit Writing Programme

All writing programmes are adjusted to the individual needs of each student.

Students will focus on writing sentences with correct spelling, grammar and syntax.

Students will work on writing paragraphs that have structure, purpose and are clear for their reader.

Students will plan and write formal pieces such as persuasive texts, essays and reports. These will use appropriately structured and edited paragraphs.

Students will plan and write creative texts that develop tension, characters and interesting plot resolutions. These texts will utilise students' imagination, and develop vocabulary, literary devices and editing skills.
