WELCOME TO THE READING AND WRITING TUTOR

Today, reading and writing skills are still as important as ever.

I support student learning. I provide a tutoring service for students, to support them in developing their reading and writing skills. My programmes are nurturing, individualised and structured. They are evidence based, include synthetic phonics and utilise multisensory learning strategies.

I aid students to improve their learning skills and develop confidence in their abilities.

SERVICES I PROVIDE

In English, understanding the sounds of our language and the spelling patterns we use underpins reading and writing success. Reading success in turn provides a model for writing.
I provide individualised programs for learners of varied abilities, ranging in age from the pre-school years through to adulthood. All lessons include a spelling component, a creative writing component, vocabulary development and reading development; this is to comprehensively develop student literacy skills.
Lessons are delivered at Narara in a one-to-one private lesson or through Zoom if required. Parents are welcome to participate in their child’s lesson.
